London-based plant hire specialist, Mr Plant Hire, has started the ground works for its new premises in North London. The work will be part of a £4million pound investment in a new specially designed purpose-built depot which will house its powered access hire and construction equipment hire division.
The Company’s experienced administrative staff team will also be based in the new premises, making it the new Mr Plant Hire HQ.
The site is at 8 Morson Road, Enfield where two large areas will be concreted in time for the busy Christmas period. The next stage, in the New Year, will be the build start of a 30m X 12mtr footprint for purpose built workshops and a 12m X 12m modular office.
The new premises will facilitate a significant increase in capacity, providing a home (when finished) to purpose built workshops, modular offices and potentially a refurb centre for the plant hire equipment.
The space will be far bigger than most other plant hire companies enjoy and will also bring new staff and environmental benefits for the Mr Plant Hire staff team, with staff parking all on the one site and an electric car charging point.
New Powered Access hire depot
The new premises is ideally located to facilitate Mr Plant Hire’s expansion, having great transport links to the North Circular A406 and M11 to the M25 and beyond.
The expanded space will facilitate Mr Plant Hire’s planned new purchases of telehandlers for hire and low level access equipment including the increasingly popular Ecolift and Pecolift Hire in which Mr Plant Hire continues to invest in building up a bigger fleet.
